Earth Partner Exhibition by Art Partner / Earth Partner
Vatican Borgo Laudato Si’, Papal Palace Gardens, Castel Gandolfo, Italy
“Young people have a new ecological sensitivity and a generous spirit...” — Pope Francis
"The Earth Partner Prize provides a platform for a generation that has internalised the ecological crisis as part of its daily reality. Each year, participants between the ages of 14 and 30 are invited to express their experiences creatively through any media, fostering a global dialogue about the defining challenge of our time.
Representing 28 countries, this exhibition brings together 55 works from previous editions of the Earth Partner Prize. What emerges is an intimate and expansive body of work by a generation coming of age in crisis. We are proud to partner with the Laudato Si’ Centre for Higher Education in presenting these works at Borgo Laudato Si’, in the pontifical gardens of Castel Gandolfo, for a unique journey that expresses both the urgency of the current crisis as well as a profound hope for a truly integral ecology."

The Lie of the Land by the Vulgar Earth Collective
Mid Wales Arts Centre, Newtown
“An exhibition of contemporary art, painting, sculpture and mixed media by 13 independent artists from the Vulgar Earth Collective with a shared philosophy, who have individually explored ‘the lie of the land’.
‘Where we see ourselves today, concepts of our land, our place in it and its place in our consciousness.’
Each artist brings their own perspective on the world, with shared concerns, and a love for the positives of the human spirit and the beauty of nature. They believe that art should be for all and should reflect, inform and benefit society.”

Cliché-Verres in Colour
EDEN Gallery, Cumbria
"In her debut solo exhibition at EDEN Gallery, experimental fine artist Charlotte Greenwood presents a selection of pieces from her ongoing series of cameraless photographs Cliché-Verres in Colour.
Working at the intersection of art and science, Greenwood’s practice combines techniques from painting and photography to explore the inherent unpredictability of nature. In this collection, her technique is based on cliché-verre, exploring fluid dynamics and natural abstraction to capture fleeting, macro-scale moments of matter in motion."

Beyond Silver by the London Alternative Photography Collective
The Hive, Birmingham
"The London Alternative Photography Collective presents Beyond Silver, an exhibition that explores the relationships between analogue photography and metallurgy. The exhibition considers the use of silver in photography while also shining a light on many other metals used in photographic image production, both historically and in contemporary practice. In addition to silver, it includes works that utilise lesser-known metals in photography, including iron, copper, tin, aluminium, platinum, and palladium."

Future Ecologies by the Diatom Collective
Brooklyn, New York
"In a world increasingly manipulated by humans, where the borders between the natural and the artificial dissolve, it is worth asking: What is ecology? Is artificial nature ecological? Is the capitalist system responsible for the current planetary crisis? Is progress possible with capitalism? Is progress possible without capitalism? Can technology assist nature without disrupting it? Are technological advances more the cause or the solution? Is there a way to thread together technology with our ecosystem?
Future Ecologies aims to ask those questions rather than seek definitive answers.
Our exhibition celebrates the interaction of technology, art, sociology, and architecture in relation to ecology."
